John Holbrook is a photographer from Fort Worth, Texas who will speak at alternative spring break on art and activism. Holbrook's recent photographs of Texas death row inmates began their international tour in 2008 at the Norwegian Opera house in Oslo. The tour includes an exhibit and a lecture from John Holbrook about his experiences photographing ideath row nmates and his 17 years experiences as a private Investigator working on Texas capital murder cases. The exhibit was shown in the Texas Capitol during the 2009 legislative session. The tour continues throughout Europe and the U.S.
